Because of your generous participation in our 2nd Annual Fundraiser, the Rock Hill Turner Foundation continues to expand vital hands-on STEM education programs and protect delicate local ecosystems. We are profoundly grateful for your dedication to scientific advancement and environmental stewardship.

Official Quid Pro Quo Disclosure & Tax Receipt

In accordance with Internal Revenue Code § 6115 and federal income tax regulations, please retain this formal written acknowledgment for your personal tax records. Below is the mandatory itemization of goods and services provided in connection with your charitable contribution.

1. Event Ticket Donors

Tax-Deductible Calculation: Your charitable deduction is limited to the excess of the total ticket price paid over the fair market value (FMV) of the benefits received. • Total Ticket Contribution: As per your receipt • Value of Goods/Services Provided: $75 per ticket (dinner & catering) Deductible Amount: $75 per ticket.

2. Silent Auction Donors

Tax-Deductible Calculation: Under federal tax law, an auction purchase is deductible only if you paid an amount exceeding the established Fair Market Value (FMV) of the item. • Item Fair Market Value: Stated on individual auction lot placard Deductible Amount: Only payments exceeding the documented FMV constitute a charitable deduction.


Important Federal Income Tax Disclosure: The Rock Hill Turner Foundation is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your contribution other than the tangible event benefits and dinner explicitly outlined above. Please retain this notice in your tax records for the 2026 tax year.
